Around the holidays we tend to feel more grateful for the gifts we have; our family and friends, our health, the food on our table, and a roof over our heads. Here at Habitat, we are also grateful for the wonderful community we share; a community of volunteers, donors, and customers who continue to give time and resources to our mission so that we can help our family partners thrive in their communities. Belonging to a community is an important part of life; providing individuals with a sense of belonging, and a sense of identity. It is a group of people who care about each other's needs and take on each other's struggles; offering safety and security. Living each day in the knowledge that we are bound together, that each of us should do our part, to work and thrive together. We thank all of you for being part of our community. A community of people who listen to our stories, value our contributions, and allow us to feel proud of our accomplishments. We thank you for your continued support and encouragement, especially in those times we need it the most. We thank you for believing in our mission and helping us complete our work - certainly at a time when Habitat's vision has never been more clear.
